Duwamish Cohousing (formerly Ciel Cohousing) is an urban cohousing community in West Seattle, about 10 minutes from downtown. We moved into our homes in June 2000. Our neighborhood is primarily made up of fully equipped duplex townhomes owned as condominiums and generous common facilities including large kitchen and dining spaces; two indoor and two outdoor child play areas; a woodshop; a craft studio; a laundry; an office; a sunroom/living room; sunny decks and patios; native plant landscaping; and several community gardens. 20th Anniversary Open House, Ananda Community of Lynnwood

Lynnwood, Washington

The Ananda Community of Lynnwood celebrates its 20th Year anniversary with an Open House on Saturday, June 16, 2012. All are welcome to tour and ask questions about this thriving intentional spiritual community. There will be displays of various Ananda projects, including the Ananda Meditation Temple in Bothell, East West Bookshop in Seattle, Living Wisdom School in Shoreline, and Living Wisely Thrift and Gift Store in Shoreline. Enjoy food and entertainment, and join in on one of the many tours of the community. 20 minute tours are offered from 4 to 6pm, and will include the temple, community room, some apartments, the chicken coop, the vegetable gardens and hoop house of Ananda’s CSA (Community Supported Agriculture). Following the tours from 4-6 pm will be a public Solstice Celebration at 6pm.
